Chad is the founder and principal of Chad E. Cowan, CPA PA, a tax-focused accounting firm based in Augusta, Kansas. He is a licensed Certified Public Accountant with nearly two decades of experience in public accounting, specializing in tax planning, compliance, and advisory services for individuals and businesses.

Chad earned both his Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting and his Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Wichita State University. Since beginning his career in 2007, he has worked extensively with clients across a wide range of industries, offering practical guidance through complex financial and regulatory environments.

Known for his clear, approachable communication style and attention to detail, Chad is committed to helping clients make informed financial decisions. His practice emphasizes long-term relationships, strategic tax efficiency, and personalized service that adapts to each client’s unique goals.

Outside of the office, Chad remains actively involved in the Augusta community, enjoys skiing, playing guitar, and is an avid pinball enthusiast and collector.
